Aida, grand opera at its finest, comes to The Stag Theatre at Sevenoaks with a new production from the highly acclaimed Kentish Opera. One of Verdi’s most dramatic works, this fully staged production sung in English features professional soloists from major opera companies, accompanied by a full orchestra and the superb Kentish Opera chorus. A favourite with audiences around the world, this tragic story of doomed love in the time of Ancient Egypt draws its appeal from the impassioned arias, magnificent choruses, including The Grand March, and exhilarating orchestral music that highlight Verdi at the peak of his composing prowess, all set in the time of Ancient Egypt.

Directed by Stephen Anthony Brown with Robyn Sevastos as Musical Director this is a production not to be missed. Costumes designed by Carol Stevenson and Alice Harvey and set designed by Harry Stevenson.
