Greensand Way
If you’re looking for a way to discover the Garden of England on foot, the Greensand Way is a great place to start.
A prime chunk of the long-distance trail passes through West Kent. It’s a beautiful path to follow, taking in Toys Hill, Ide Hill and Sevenoaks Weald, the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and several Sites of Special Scientific Interest. It’s a well-connected route too. Much of it is accessible by public transport, and you’re never that far from a café or pub, although it feels quiet and remote.
