A picturesque converted stables block in the beautiful village of Cowden, near Edenbridge.

Two deluxe rooms available (and they can be hired for a discount together), with cooking and pottery classes on offer (on request). Access to a communal patio and amazing country walks. Resident baker, Emily will bake fresh sourdough bread and serve it with homemade jams and spreads. Just let her know of any allergies or intolerances! Breakfast is served on a tray to your room between 8 – 9am or later if a lie-in is requested.
Sample local beers, wines and spirits, as well as delicious foods from local Cottage Box delivery. Simply pre-order your hamper and it will be waiting for you when you arrive or ready in time for your evening tipple.
Book a pottery class with resident artist Jonathan Page. Learn how to make a simple mug or bowl and decorate it using beautiful glazes and paints. Watch in anticipation as it emerges from the kiln and take it home with you (minimum stay required is 4 nights). Children’s classes are also available. Or buy some art! Jonathan makes elegant modern sculptures for both indoor and outdoor use. He is a contemporary artist making abstract forms in clay that capture the essence of natural phenomena. Available in ceramic, bronze, steel, and fiberglass finishes.

Owners Emily and Jonny are parents to two small children and are happy to accommodate your own little ones for a small additional fee. Travel cots, child beds, and infant cots can be provided as well as high chairs. Please inquire when you book your stay for more information. Sadly the rooms are not equipped for pets.
