The George & Dragon
The George & Dragon Pub & Dining Room. This beautiful 16th century gastropub has been feeding locals and visitors since King Henry VIII was last in town.
Step inside to dine on local produce with a field to fork ethos. There’s a roaring log fire and heavy oak beams. In warmer weather, head to the garden, which is surrounded by apple and cherry trees. There’s a children’s play area, sofa section and, in the evening, storm lanterns and strings of twinkling fairy lights. The George & Dragon is atmospheric dining at its best. The food is excellent too.
